We generate our own green energy through our Anaerobic Digesters and Combined Heat & Power System, helping us to save the emission of up to 35 million kilos of Carbon Dioxide per year. Running solar-powered vehicles and gas-powered milk tankers also reduces emissions and improves air quality.
Additionally, our investment in covering farm slurry and ensuring the health of our cows means we have reduced odours and further production of greenhouse gases, both on our land and in the local community.
Ivy’s Reserve was created by our grandmother, a pioneer cheesemaker, talented cook, countrywoman and nature-lover. A century later, her Cheddar and butter have won countless awards and are now enjoyed around the world.
